Newborn: Baby M

I really love last minute bookings, especially when it means being able to spend time with a new baby. Baby M’s red hair and sweet expressions melted me! Big brother J’s liveliness was just the best next to his sleepy new sister and had my face aching from all the smiling. The early days with both my children are painted with so much overwhelming love, but also with exhaustion–I can’t express how much I value the opportunity to be an observer of these days, and wish I’d found a well-rested photographer to capture ours.

While I’m based in Springfield, VA, I enjoyed an early morning drive to Ashburn (I grew up in Loudoun) just a few days after the last snow.
