Newborn: Baby L
Baby L is so loved. What I felt during this session:
- L’s mom and dad are SO supportive of each other. Now is the time to frickin stick close together, people; those early days and the sleep-deprivation-induced delusion are not easy. You guys are doing it right!
- L is so content just to be close to her parents. Even though I’ve done it twice, I’m still so in awe of how well parents know their babies just days after they held them for the first time.
- L’s parents are so thankful and so in love with her (and each other). What more can you ask for?
[This entire session was done in one nursery in a gorgeously-lit (ALL SUN) Alexandria, VA apartment. I like to say that I’m great at capturing the family dynamic. I believe that that dynamic is all I need to deliver amazingggg portraits — we don’t need a studio or a huge house or a ton of props, and your house doesn’t even need to be clean (but theirs was ;)).]
